Terms and Conditions

These are the Terms and conditions for the use of our website and for our linked online shop and for the purchase of goods through the sites. The terms and conditions contained herein together with any notices or conditions on other areas of the site will together govern usage by customers of the site. You should note that The Gardeners Show Shop may at any time make changes to or remove any part of this website without any liability to customers for such changes. The Gardeners Show Shop reserves the right to change these terms and conditions in the future without specifically notifying customers and continued use of the website or placing of orders after such changes shall be deemed to be acknowledgement and acceptance thereof.
A contract will only come into existence between The Gardeners Show Shop and you the customer once your order has been processed and dispatched.
When you place an order via this website, you warrant by placing the order that: • You are not a minor, or otherwise legally incapable of entering into a binding contract. • You are over the age required by law if purchasing age restricted goods. • The personal details which you give us are fully complete and accurate. • You are not using a false name or the name of any other person or body which you are not entitled or authorised to use.
Placing an order
When you place an order, you are doing so in acceptance of these terms and conditions and it is important that you have read them before the order is placed.
Cancelling an order
As a customer you are free to cancel an order within 14 days and will be refunded the amount of the order to the account used to for the original payment.
Acceptance of an order
When an order is placed an order confirmation containing the details of the order will be sent to the email address you provided during checkout.
We accept payment from most major credit/debit cards including Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, and American Express. Payments are processed using SumUp.
We currently only deliver to Mainland UK addresses using standard Royal Mail services.
Liability & Severance
We try to ensure that all information on our website is correct, but we make no warranties, express or implied, regarding its accuracy.
We also do not make any warranties, express or implied, regarding matters relating to the use of this website, and it is a matter for you to ensure that your own equipment is protected from viruses and/or other external factors.
Your rights as a consumer are protected by the sale of goods and Supply of services Act 1980 and the Consumer Protection Act 2007. Nothing in this website shall affect your rights under the applicable law.
If any of these terms and conditions shall prove to be unlawful, void or for any reason unenforceable then that provision shall be deemed severable and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions.

Returns and Refunds

When you buy goods from a business in law you have rights as a consumer. These include the right to claim a refund, replacement, repair and/or compensation where goods are faulty or misdescribed.
Consumers are entitled to expect goods to remain of satisfactory quality throughout their reasonable life expectancy so long as they are maintained correctly and not misused.
Faulty/Damaged/Incorrect Goods
Goods should be of a satisfactory quality and match the description given. While we do our utmost to ensure that you receive the goods which you have ordered, we are only human and sometimes mistakes are made. In the event of you being sent the wrong item, or of the item being damaged during transit / faulty / not as described you have the “short term right to reject”. This allows you a 30-day period from the time of delivery to reject the goods.
Should you choose to reject the goods, please notify us within the 30 day period at and we will contact you to arrange the return of the goods and the options available to you for refund/replacement/repair.
Change of mind (Your right to cancel)  
TGSS accepts returns within 14 days of delivery if products are not used and are in undamaged original packaging. The cost of return will be borne by you, the customer. Returns should be accompanied by our cancellation form, which will be on the confirmation of contract supplied with the goods at the time of delivery. You do not need to provide a reason for your change of mind for products that meet the above criteria.

Used Goods
Fair wear and tear will not be considered as a fault.
Misused and/or neglected tools will not be considered as faulty/misdescribed.
